We anticipate that courses from Kyoto University will transfer to UCSD as 2-3 units per course. Japanese language classes are anticipated to transfer as 5-6 unit courses. Prior to departure, UCSD Admissions will evaluate courses as part of the Tritons Abroad application process and will provide feedback on unit value and course level (lower or upper division).

English. Japanese language classes available.
Duration
Fall Semester: October - February (Semester 2 at Kyoto U)
Spring Semester: late March/early April to late July/early August (Semester 1at Kyoto U)
Students may also apply for both semesters.
Housing
Students will live in university dorms or apartments.
Eligibility
Student must have a 2.0 GPA or higher. Junior or senior standing required.
